Sika® Primer-209 D – Adhesion Promoter for Plastics
Sika® Primer-209 D is a black, solvent-based primer that reacts with atmospheric moisture to form a thin protective and adhesive layer between the surface being treated and the adhesive.
It is specifically formulated to improve the adhesion of Sika’s one-component polyurethane products to various plastic and painted surfaces. On certain materials, it can ensure excellent adhesion without the need for additional activation treatments.

Fiberglass (GRP)
Epoxy resins
PVC, ABS, PMMA, PC, and PS
Acrylic surfaces
Alkyd and melamine-based paints
Powder coatings and oven-cured paints
