The Minn Kota Riptide Transom 80/42 is an electric outboard motor suitable for stern installation and use in sea water. Incredibly silent, simple and reliable. This motor can be used daily in a saltwater environment without any problems. Resistant to the effects of saltwater corrosion, thanks to high-quality alloys and aluminum upper arms. The metals undergo a heavy multi-stage cleaning process before being anodized or coated with a special protective layer of zinc dichromate. All components are then finished in a durable 5 mm TGIC polyester, powder coated paint. Then you will have unparalleled protection against corrosion.
It has main functions such as back and forth variable speed with Digital Maximizer, battery charge indicator and telescopic control bar. Consumption is optimized thanks to the Digital Maximizer, a system that allows you to electronically vary the speed, prolonging the battery charge by up to 5 times!
Equipped with the Weedless Wedge 2 propeller which features a unique and patented design with enlarged and flared blades that "protect" from vegetation while preserving battery charge. It helps you move through dense vegetation, even at low speeds. Includes pin, nut and washer.
